They say it takes 2-6 months. I'm about a week ahead of you on

Xolair. I've been allergic asthmatic since I was three years old. No

improvements as yet. Doug'll chime in soon...he's just about on the

other side of the mountain!

You won't feel any difference for a while. Some people get relief

within a few weeks, others I have heard have taken up to a year.

I have had 10 shots now (2 1/2 months) and I am finally seeing some

progress.

I have had three sets of injections over the past 2 1/2 months.

Felt some relief within 48 hours of the first shot.

My condition has been 'stable' since then, with only minor

measurable improvement from the standpoint of test results from a

peak flow meter.

However, I do feel like my symptoms are improved, and I also believe

that I get a better response to my meds than I did before.

Usually this is a bad time of year for me due to all of the falling

leaves. So far this fall has not been too bad, but I still feel

some wheezing when I am working in the yard.

Good luck and clear breathing.
