Guest guest
It's taken forever - well, okay, six or seven weeks, I think - for my stupid insurance company to agree to pay for xolair and then for their stupid pharmacy to ship the stuff - but tomorrow I get my first shot. And I have to believe that this is going to be the miracle I'm looking for. This time of year, my allergies manifest themselves in something that resembles fibromyalgia; *everything* hurts, and I do mean everything. A lot. And I can't sleep. And my peak flow is dropping, so I have to use more advair or albuterol, both of which give me a headache (as do all asthma meds) that only darvocet can relieve (a little). And I'm rashy and itching and sneezy, too. Okay, enough whine for now. <g> Anyway, tomorrow I get my first shot. And it's going to be wonderful, I just know it! I'll check back in soon-- Joyce
