Guest guest
Marge, That I can remember, we've only ever had one poster in this group who had any ill effects after taking Xolair - it was someone who is only mildly asthmatic and probably did not meet the threshhold for getting the drug, but whose doctor thought they should give it a try anyway. A couple of people have reported some acne after the first week or two on Xolair, but I believe this has cleared up for those who posted about it. Most of us are really happy with this drug - I mean REALLY happy. It does take time to work - for some folks as long as 6-7 months to begin to see improvement. Good luck to you. Let us know how you do with the Xolair. Thanks for posting! Addy
Guest guest
Hi Marge, I have been taking the injenction now for 8 months now. In the first few months I felt very tired on the day of the injection, but as time has gone on, I have tried to fight that feeling and I think I am getting better. Apart from that, no other side effects. I think you will hear the same comment from most of the long time users of Xolair on this board. --- In , " margeed123 " <margaretm123@a...> wrote: > Hi Everyone: > I just stumbled upon this group while searching the internet for > information on Xolair. Guest guest
I was nervous about my first dose of Xolair also. Turned out to be no problem. Actually, I had a much worse time with the regular allergy (immunotherapy) shots. The Xolair shots can sting a bit and leave bruises for me, but nothing serious or too painful. The wait in the MD's office is the worst of my complaints!
