Guest guest
et al, I'm still bruising easily and I've been pretty much steroid free (ICS or otherwise) for a couple of months now. I guess the next time I go to the doctor I should ask if this is a permanent thing due to the length of time I was on steroids or what. It is comforting to know that I'm not the only one with fatigue issues, although I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Once I see the doc I'll let y'all know what I find out. Xolair shots on Sunday - can't wait! Take care, Addy
Guest guest
I haven't used prednisone in many years. Only because I refused to take it. My Dr. would write me a prescription and I would never fill it. Despite threats from him to put me in the hospital. Since I use my voice for a living I would have to turn away work when I was on it. So I could either go a few days without voicing anything while I treated my asthma with other drugs or weeks while the prednisone ran it's course. So it has been at least 4 or 5 years since I have taken prednisone. So I am not sure that it is responsible for my bruising.
