Guest guest
There is a teenage girl in my city that has chronic asthmais on large amounts of Pred and needs Xolair. Her insurance co pay is 600.00 a month and her parents can't afford to pay that amount plus their expensice insurance premiums. Her mother plans to write the governer. I don't think it will do any good. Poor kid. I am very blessed to have my co pay at 40.00 a month. It is my prayer that EVERYONE that needs Xolair will be able to get it! I have been on Xolair since September 2003. I can't see much difference in my asthma. Lately, I have had to increase my pred back to 40 mg a day. Sigh! I am taking 2000 mg a day of calcium to hopefully offest the possible ostiopirosis. Doug
