Guest guest
Got slammed with a major sinus infection this week. Normally this would work its way into the upper airways and clobber me with a major asthma problem. Knock on wood, but nothing to report at this time! I wouldn't say I feel great, but at least I am not wheezing.

I start back on my REGULAR allergy shots tomorrow. It will take 17 of them to get me back up to my maintence dose. My asthma gor worse 6 months ago when I got off those regular shots. Guest guest
Glad you are not having any asthma trouble, although a sinus infection is always a big hassle. Doug, I'll bet you have just too much change going on right now for the Xolair to really be able to make a difference. I'm hopeful that will change for you shortly. I am recovering from sinusitis/bronchitis, brought on by yet another viral onslaught. I am taking Avelox (antibiotic), Advair 500, Astelin, Rhinocort, Rescon Mx. Just completed the pred taper and have not needed to neb since Tues. I am EXHAUSTED - I think the Avelox may have a part in that. I had my seventh and eighth Xolair shots a few days ago. I hope and pray none of us gets the flu. Addy
Guest guest
Don't even use the 'F' word here! I had my shot, but it sounds like it won't be of much, if any, help. So far, so good, though, even though it has been rampant in the area I live (Northwestern NC). We had over 200 kids out of high school one day. Somehow my son has managed to avoid it in his day care. If he gets it, we're all going down. My prayers are with all of you, too. Greg > > I hope and pray none of us gets the flu. > > Addy
