Guest guest
I can't remember how many I have had now. I think it's now up to 18 shots. My sthma has NOT improved yet and I am still on 10 mg of pred every day. My new office is HORRIBLE! It's in an old building with tons of mold and dust. I can't be in there more than 5 minutes without my chest getting tight and burning. I am going to buy one of those HEPA air filters and see if that helps. My doctor prescribed it for me today. You think my insurance will pay for it??? HECK NO! GRRRRRRRRRRR I pay over 830.00 a month in premiums and then they wont cover what I need. They would't pay for a new neb machine either two years ago. They said that the one they paid for me in 1993 was the only one I needed. Well, that one broke and was NOT repairable. That didn't matter to them. I still had to fork over the 89.00 for the thing myself. Well, at LEAST they are paying WELL on my Xolair with a 35.00 monthly copay. I will praise them for that! ) I am will also be back up to my maintence dose of regular allergy extract in 17 shots (17 weeks) this ought to help too.
