Guest guest
I met a lady yesterday who is allergic to tobacco smoke so bad, that she has to carry a small oxygen tank over her shoulder in a bag with her all the time. Whenever someone lights up around her, or she has to walk through smoke to get to an non smoking area, she puts on her mask. She said that whenever she is exposed to smoke, she has a severe antiphalactic (sp) reaction, has to use her Epi-Pen and go to the ER. Man, talk about giving smokers a message about how their habit effects others around them. Update: I am back my normal asthma routine now. (Abnormal is when my nebbing does not work). 10 mg of pred and nebbing 4-5 times a day. Next week, I will be tapering down to 5 mg a day of pred.... will stay there for a few weeks, then 5 mg every other day, then hopefully, OFF!
