GERD, anyone

I have had an increase in reflux symptoms in the past 3-4 weeks.

I've had this before, but infrequently, and haven't had it this badly

in about eight years.

Wondering if it's coincidence, side effect, what. Is anyone else

seeing an increase in GERD symptoms since starting Xolair?

Six weeks without pred, albuterol or antibiotics! Can't believe it.

Fighting a cold since yesterday morning. By now I should have a full

blown sinus infection. Not having taken pred in a while, I'm hoping

my immune system is stronger and I can remain asymptomatic!

Take care all,

Addy

Addy,

I have had GERD for years. I take nexium 2 times a day and sleep on

a wedge. I also do not eat anything after 6 PM. The Xolair has made

no difference. Now, if I eat something spicey for dinner (no matter

what time) I have GERD even sleeping on a wedge. In those cases, I

sleep sitting up in a recliner.

No, Xolair has not made mine worse, however, GERD and Asthma go hand

in hand. Both, affect the other.

Nebbing as I type :P
