Guest guest
Last week after I got my Xolair, I came home for my usual afternoon nebulization. We then went out to dinner. We asked for the " non smoking " section and got in one as usual. Well, getting to the point here... the people next to us ignored the non smoking area and guess what? After I just took $1000.00+ worth of medication, I had it ruined by someone who can't read or was just plain arrogant or rude. I couldn't neb again for at least 3 hours, so I suffered it out. I didn't want to cause a scene in the restraunt. If people want to smoke, fine! that is their business. Let them puff themselves silly! They do have the right to spend all that money and take a chance with their lungs. However, I do have a right to CLEAN air. I smoked for 12 years, age 15-27. I quit cold turkey in 1982 then 3 years later, I got chronic daily asthma and have had it ever since. Every doctor I have seen including 2 pulmo doc's have said that my asthma has nothing to do with my smoking. Wierd huh? If I can quit, anyone can!
