Guest guest
To All, I've been waiting to post until I had sufficient proof that this drug we have all been exploring works. It has been a month and a half with not even a puff of inhaled steroids and I feel better than I have in 6 years. Its been 3 months since starting xolair and in consultation with my doctors they believe the progress I have experienced may just be the beginning. My doctors think I should feel the full extent of xolair at 6 months. I am also posting because of what I read from Doctor Lisberg. Sometimes the progress of a drug cannot be evaluated by scientific measurments i.e. peak flows and FEVs. If a patient can cut back on his or her steroids that alone should be enough reason for a patient to use Xolair. I've never been able to blow great numbers in a peak flow meter ever. All I know is I am finally seeing my neck and the hump on the back of my neck is going away. I hate steroids and what they do to people. I think there has been a large amount of push back from doctors like Dr Lisberg because they are afraid of losing their practice of patients. " What Your Doctors Aren't Telling You " My pulmonologist is the only doctor in his practice to try Xolair. His partners are afraid to use it and if my doctor is out of town they refuse to administer the injections to me. They are afraid I am going to die under their care. With that kind of thinking we would have never used fire. Bill Pucci
