I get two shots every two weeks. I get the shots, wait an hour (which is really not needed but my doctor insists...sigh) and go home. Not a pain, not a red spot where they gave them to me, no reactions of any kind. It is a real pleasure to get them knowing they are helping so much with my asthma My wife and I have a very best friend who is a yoga instructor. Here is his web site: http://www.guyyoga.com/ Doug
Guest guest
Don't do yoga but am not surprised that the exercise helps. I have been doing a program that is based on a combination of strength, balance, flexibility, and aerobic capacity, and have noticed a lot of difference. Unfortunately, even with practice I cannot get my 41 year-old body to move in the same ways that I did when I was 15 and pre-asthma <sigh>. The humidity, which normally throws me into a tailspin, has not bothered me too much this year. Even though I have recently cut back to 10 mg of pred every other day, and have cut back to Advair 250 twice daily (from 500), unless I am working in the yard I don't have too much trouble, and even then I can control it pretty well. This is a very positive indicator. Good luck and clear breathing Greg > I took my next dosage yesterday. I hate to take it as it always > knocks me out for the rest of the day.
