Interesting article in Time magazine...

This week there is an article about the health problems associated

with inflammation.

Most of the article focuses on heart disease and arthritis. Asthma

scarecely gets a mention, even though as we all know, this is a

serious health problem and is growing, and is characterized by

inflammation.

The article says something to the effect that the hottest area of

medical research today is the study of inflammation and its

prevention and treatment.

Also thought it was interesting in the article I referenced that

there are currently 40 medications under study that focus on anti-

IgE treatment. I have heard of others that also include '-lizumab'

in their name.
