Guest guest
Zenapax is the brand name of daclizumab which is the medication that our favorite doctor is testing. It was approved in 1997 for treatment of patients receiving kidney transplants to prevent rejection. The cost of Zenapax is less than $500 for 5 injections, according to http://www.destinationrx.com/learningcenter/druginfo/info.asp? prodid=54569494200 & name=ZENAPAX However, I couldn't find any information that indicated the dosages they were using in the study on asthmatics. At this price, if this is truly effective, you can probably count on your health insurance to jump all over this and start diagnosing and treating your asthma for you. I found a study that referenced at least 5 medications under study that worked on monoclonal antibodies. The cost to get a copy of the study was $12,600 so I hope you'll forgive me for not downloading it. Greg
