Guest guest
I got my first home delivery of Xolair yesterday, complete with syringes, large and small needles, and sterile water. It came FedEx in an insulated foil pouch with a small freezer pack in it to keep it cold. I felt like I was opening a box of gold. Of course, gold would probably have cost less I plan to do the injection on Sunday, just to allow myself plenty of time to do it. My five-year-old son, whom I usually let do my allergy injections, is very intrigued, but I think I'll go solo on this one. It's funny - I have been giving myself allergy shots for years. I gave shots to my wife for fertility, and had to mix the stuff much like Xolair has to be mixed. However, this time I am feeling nervous, unlike any time before. We are expecting 10 - 15 " of snow between today and tomorrow. I haven't had my normal asthma problems while shoveling my driveway since I have been on Xolair. This will be a good test.
