Guest guest
Theresa: I had the blood test for my IgE antibodies done while I was on a high dosage of steroids, and the levels still came back high enough (131) to make me a candidate for the Xolair injections (the steroids actually lowered my count)............I would think that your allergist would take any medications you are taking, as well as the allergy injections, into consideration when evaluating your IgE levels.
