Guest guest
with all of my immunity problems, my dr had my bloodwork done, looking for IgG, IgM, IgA...you name it. she threw IgE in the mix because she was curious. i knew after xolair, it was supposed to increase, but it seemed to increase a lot. before xolair my IgE was 716. now its 1197. is that much of a jump normal? the dr seemed shocked that it jumped so much. i guess it doesn't much matter, seeing as i'm on the highest xolair dosage approved.... the good (?) news is my immune system is working fine, its just lazy. i've spent the last six weeks on biaxin, and will continue for four more months. somehow, i've developed another sinus/resp infection, so i'm on levaquin, on top of the biaxin. i almost wish the immune system had something wrong with it, b/c it would be an answer to why i have been so sick the last few years. i am looking forward to spring. generally, i'm not as sick with these infections and only plauged by allergies. last spring was the healthiest i've been in so long, and i can only thank xolair for that. i can't wait to get on my mountain bike. =o) heather
