Guest guest
hi kathy i too have many sinus issues. i'm just curious what meds are you on for your sinuses? (if you don't mind me asking). i take astelin, nasacort and biaxin (500 mg daily). the biaxin, in long term use, is used as an anti-inflammatory. the rest of my meds are asthma/allergy meds (advair, flovent, bromfed, singulair, uniphyll, pepcid). i'm just wondering if we're missing something. we're trying to get a handle on these blasted sinuses, but it just seems they are constantly outo f control. my allergy/asthma dr wants to send me to another ENT (this will be #3) to see if he can find the missing link. i'm getting tired of ENT shopping! unfortunately, xolair made no noticible difference with my sinuses, leading us to believe its either a structural problem (i've already had sinus surgery twice) or some kind of cootie i'm constantly exposed to. on the brighter side, xolair has tremendously helped my asthma!! YEAH!! heather kathy eisen <kathyh1942@...> wrote: Dear : I don't know about pill form but,Xolair is helping me with my other allergies (sinus) I am much better since being on Xolair. I take four medicines for sinus allergies alone. All my doctors say the improvement is due to the Xolair, except my otolaringologist (I think that's how it's spelt) Kathy. Everybody has barriers and obstacles. If you look at them as containing fences that don't allow you to advance, then you're going to be a failure. If you look at them as hurdles that strengthen you each time you go over one, then you're going to be a success. Guest guest
Dear : I'm on Prednisone 2.5mg (down from 5), Alegra 2xady, flonase, for sinuses. Asthma Qvar80 2xad, serevent2xady, theophylline 2xady, and for other things Lipitor, Aciphex, Lotrel, Zoloft, Actonel and Xolair. My sinuses have improved not a lot but, they have improved. Let's see what winter brings. I have a lot of issues with summer all the tress and grasses, so I'll wait and see.
