Guest guest
The ENT was very pleased yesterday. my sinuses look pretty clear for the first time in a very long time. he believes its just a combination of everything we're doing. i have to return in two months to get scoped (YUCK) and then we'll talk about the possibility of surgery, but at this point, he doesn't think i need anything (YEAH!). the levaquin has knocked out the sinus and resp. infection rather quickly. thats always a good thing. the breathing is still a little " iffy " , and i'm waking up at least once during the night for the inhaler or neb. i have an idea thats in response to lowering my PM dose of theophylline, which will go back to normal once i'm off the levaquin. sadly, allergy season is upon us. (they say pollen counts are " LOW " ) i was hoping that after 14 months of xolair, i could get the entire 14 days b/w doses symptom free. it appears its the same as last year, where i make ten great days, and then taper off a little towards the next dose. i started today with the itchy eyes, sneezing and some tightness. of course, its nothing like it was before the xolair, and that i'm so thankful for. i can't wait for spring to really come. its still in the 30s here every day, we've still got snow on the ground. i'm ready for warmer weather, blooming flowers and mountain biking!!! all which i can enjoy because of xolair. =o) i hope everyone has a happy easter, and is able to spend it with those they love. heather
