Guest guest
Thanks for the kind words. I slept pretty well considering and this morning, do have just a little bit that is plagueing me. We'll see what the day will bring. I have to be at the dentist's office before it opens before going to work. A temporary crown has developed a jagged spur and is making mincemeat out of the right side of my tongue. I have to premedicate with antibiotics before going in so I have gotten up early so I can get ready for work and not have to rush around at the last minute and forget to take them. My grandson is going to ride to school with a neighbor(he lives for this as he thinks they are his 2nd family(8 kids)so will be able to make it in good time. The regular appointment for taking the tooth casting is for next Wednesday. I hope this finds you and the rest of family having a wonderful day. My wish is that everyone can enjoy this day and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Guest guest
Hi, Jan! No apology necessary. I am fascinated with the way this type of email is born and evolves. There is another poem out there with Maya Angelou's name on it involving Tommy Hilfiger and the KKK - not true either. Sorry the fire drill left you in so much pain. Debs has a nightmare story along those lines as well. There has got to be a better way to do those drills. I believe Debs is with the same doctor and had another surgery yesterday. We're all praying for her, too. Hope your dental appointment went well and that you can be more comfortable today. [ ] Sorry About That > > : Thanks for bringing it to my attention about the supposed poem by Maya Angelou. It's been a long time since I've read anything of hers and though the title seemed familar, I did not recognize the text and just assumed the poetry was hers. It really is an insult to her that poetry such as this is being circulated and attributed to her. I usually don't fall for the hoaxes that come through and if I don't recognize a story as being believable, I check it out on www.snopes.com.. > > I am really hurting tonight and it doesn't have anything to do with the FMS, well maybe indirectly. Yesterday, we had a state mandated fire drill and everyone had to walk down the stairs and out across the parking lot to the designated safe area. I was on the 10th floor. Today every muscle I have(or thought of having) from my hips to my feet are sooooooo.......so sore. They have been hurting all day. I started out with " Charlie " at almost 5 this morning and he paid me such a real good visit that it took me a long time to get rid of him. All the muscles are sore to touch. They cramp from time to time without even moving. When it's time to stand up and walk, I can barely move and it feels like swords ramming up through my feet al the way to my thighs. Anyone ever have this happen and if so, how long does it usually last? > > The weather here is getting cooler, thank goodness. I don't feel so knocked out by the heat. This kind of weather and in the spring is my kind of weather. > > My love to Debs and hope she is doing well. Some of the posts regarding her must not have come in on my email inbox. I only had one email and that was from her daughter that she was doing better and that she was back in the hospital and that the doctor thought he could save her knee. Did she finally find a doctor that could help her that she could trust? I really, really hope so. If anyone will be talking to her, please give her my love and positive thoughts. She was in my prayers at 8 tonight and I say prayers throughout my waking hours for everyone also. > > It is late and I must hobble to the bedroon. My wishes for everyone to have a painfree night. With love, hugs, and prayers. Jan in CA +/:=)

I am home once again and hopefully this is where I will stay until my recovery is complete. Hope that you have a pain free weekend during these last few days of summer.
