Guest guest
I've learned an important lesson today - keep spare tubing/mouthpiece for your nebulizer on hand. I woke up this morning having a really hard time breathing, and it's been a while since I used the neb, and I can't find the tubing & mouthpiece. I called the medical supply place to deliver another (plus a backup), but that won't arrive for up to another couple of hours. I can't go get it myself because it isn't a good idea to drive right now because I feel kind of dizzy. I guess I'm a tad hypoxic or something. I'm hoping the equipment arrives before I have to go to the ER. My Xolair is due Saturday, so that should help, but that's 2 days away. But anyway, I wanted to recommend to everyone to make sure you have backups for equipment on hand so you don't have to go through this.
