Guest guest
i asked my dr if we could change the injection site on my next dose to my stomach. we usually use any combination of legs/arms to make up the three injections. i hate to sound petty and whatnot, but i'm going to a wedding after my next injection, and my dress is sleeveless, and i'd much rather NOT have that lovely bruise on my arm that i get after each injection. (bruise is usually larger than a quarter and lasts about 10 days) she didn't see a problem in it, but she wants to " double check " and just make sure that a stomach injection is okay with the xolair. i remember seeing it somewhere that it was ok, but we looked through the prescribing info and didn't see anything. does anyone know where i can get written, documented info on the injection sites. (its frustrating, she's usually very aggressive, but i guess since i'm her only xolair patient, she takes no chances) a little update -- i'm down to advair 500 as my only steroid - not even extra flovent - none for three months. i have a sinus infection -- and for the first time ever, it didn't go into bronchitus. i'm not sure if its due to the xolair, or what, but i'll take it. (i also dropped a lotta weight, about 25 pounds, since last winter) i even went today and signed up for the gym! WHOOOHOOO hope everyone is feeling well heather
