Guest guest
I haven't heard about it. My doc says his office may participate in a follow up where I would just come in for an exam every 6 mos - exam paid for by Xolair. I hope some folks from the group can participate in the one in Chicago, though. Greg, I saw your post about not having enough needles. I had the same thing happen once - I get three shots, though, so I just doubled up into two shots. When I told my nurse about it, she said she gets plenty of needles for the folks who come in to the office to get their shots, so she gives me extra. I don't know if she has extra needles from the manufacturer, or if there are folks who decided not to keep getting Xolair or what. Of course in a pinch you can get a syringe from the pharmacy. I know in NC you don't actually have to have scrip to by a syringe from the local pharmacy; I don't know about anywhere else. Terrible sleep and allergy head today. Of course, it's Xolair day, so I guess I had a bunch of new IgE that needed " binding. " Think I'm gonna go take a nap now. First really bad allergy headache in a long time. (Whereas I used to get them daily - thank you Xolair, Genentech, and Novartis). Addy
