Guest guest
The motivation for me is very simple. Xolair will help me achieve my end goal which is to get off prednisone, which I have been on non-stop since June 2003. As for achieving my goal, my pulmo and I have been talking about xolair way before it even got FDA approval in June 2003. As I am Canadian, I had to wait until Health Canada made a decision, which it did on Nov. 18, 2004. I found out on my birthday, Feb 11, 2005. I simply cried tears of relief. I had my first shot April 22, 2005. I have a magnet on my fridge with a quote from Thoreau. It is in the form of a bulls-eye and it reads " In the end, we only hit what we aim at. " Faith and hope in the future are what keep me going through the rough spots. The changes I have already experienced with Xolair now show me that my goal is attainable in baby steps. ps Case in point, I am now taking 11 mg a day of prednisone. This is the lowest dose I have ever been on since November 2003. See Mom, it's working!!!!!!!!!! pps I must add, the support and information obtained from this group are invaluable. __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos..ca
