hi doug

this is one of the netsky viruses. my dad is somewhat of a computer

guru (okay, he's a geek!!) . i was pretty certain the info i was

about to post to you was accurate, but i wanted to double check...

aaaaaaaaaaaaanyway....the virus is more of a pain in the butt than a

threat. it basily mixes and matches. it looks in someones address

book, takes on addy, plugs it into the TO field, and then another

name into the FROM field. i actually got the netsky virus from

myself..hahahaa..i know i didn't send it. someone just happened to

have my addy on a list (i'm thinking it could even come from

spammers, seeing as they seem to have everyones addy).

i have a scan program that my dad gave me, if you want it. it checks

for the netsky virus. i can send it to you if you want. just let me

know what email it woudl be best going to...its an .exe file - i

can't zip it (forgot to install winzip into my computer the last

time my dad and i ghosted, and he has the software).
