I don't know if a reaction to an immunization like that has anything

to do with IgE or not. Surely the fact that fever was a part of it

would indicate that either IgE is not involved or it's involved in

addition to some other component. I'm sorry you had such a reaction

but glad all of us can be warned to think carefully about the P

shot. Interesting question about the science of reaction.
