....Has anyone tested positive for milk allergies (Casein, etc.) ?

If you have tested positive do you drink kefir or raw milk without any

problems?...

I haven't had a formal test for milk allergies, but getting really itchy eczema

within a couple of hours of having it is enough to tell me that's what it is.

I'm sure it's the casein, as I can use a whey-based milk alternative with no

problems. I haven't tried raw milk and kefir yet, but I'm working on it. I do

know I can have yoghurt without any adverse effect - it even helps stop problems

from other dairy I have with it. So I'm sure kefir will be even better.

Cheers,

Tas'.

HI

I also have a milk allergy, along with many others. Have not heard

of Xolair trial for that, there is one going on for peanuts. You

might check out the Xolair web site. There is some talk that Xolair

may help food allergies, but I don't think anything has been proven

yet.

POFAK is a great group for parents for kids with food allergies,

lots of info and advise.

Maybe I can answer some questions for you as I have had a milk

allergy for years. Feel free to email me.
