Guest guest
Check the natural health remedies files.. several files on headaches, pain, etc.. and see what you may have on hand to help her. Guest guest
I forgot to add that a chiropractor would be a good thought...hot and cold therapy also, along with the many suggestions in the files. Guest guest
Tracey, Here is a file that may be helpful... also, how is your posture, and what type of pillow do you sleep on? I found that a pillow that elevates my head will cause me neck pain. It is not natural. SuziRainbow Egret <egret.09@...> wrote: Hi Great to hear you are headache free. Thanks for that. It was about my neighbour but my headaches are probably heaps worse than hers she does nothing all day. I desparetly need to see someone a chiro or something but can't afford it. I was actually trying to find a cranio sacral therapist for my son. None local probably have to go to Sydney. Have to do some more research.__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi Suzi I used to sleep on one of those special pillows for side sleepers with neck problems but because of breastfeeding in bed at night you can't sleep on it properly. I was doing this for the past 3 babies I think so it has been about 4 years. I recently switched to a normal pillow and have been a bit better. I think I am just under so much stress I do so much I don't stop all day washing, picking up etc that I just build up so much tension. Like I said I know I need a chiropractor or something to help me through this pregnancy but can't afford it. Used to see one before. I also sleep with a pillow between my knees always not just when pregnant to even out my hips and alleviate lower back pain. Thanks for the link. Tracey No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Hi Phil, I don't have bleph, but our son was born with it, first in the family to have this? Do you not have all the usual charateristics of bleph, the epicanthal folds and the wide telecanthus? Or is it just your droopy eyelids? Our wee guy is only 2 years old, he has had no surgeries yet, probably at age 4, before school. Have you only had the one surgery at age 10? Do you wish you never had it now, because of the headaches and nausea? That must be very hard! What has the opthalmologist said about it and can they do anything else for you to ease the pain? Do you have any photos you could share...would love to see if you do:) Take care and talk soon....welcome to the group:) PS: Where are you from? Leanne and family - Christchurch, NZ -- blepharophimosis Headaches I was born with congenital bilateral ptosis. I tilted my head back as I was growing up. I had successful surgery at 10 years old. I straightened my head after that and I have suffered one continuous headache and constant nausea ever since. I am now 26. Has anyone else had similar symptoms? Guest guest
Hiya! I'm 19, and had surgery when i was 5 and 6 for BPES. I used to tilt my head back a lot too. However, i don't think that i get many headaches compared to anybody else now though. I'm sorry to hear you feel this unwell. Guest guest
Half of my family has BPES, my two sisters and I inherited from our father who had it from his. All three girls sere operated between 4 and 7, my father and his brothers and sisters who have it (half of the 12 children) were operated between 18 and 25. I know my father and some of his brothers and sisters with BPES (at least 2 of th 6) have chronic migraines and so does one of my sister. I never thought this could be related in some cases, but I just wanted to share this information with you. I will check with my father to know if some of his brothers and sisters WITHOUT BPES also avec this kind of terrible headaches. Guest guest
I get headaches and I have always attributed it to the overuse of my forehead muscles, I don't know about all of you but I think that I work my facial muscles more than a person without BPES. I did have surgery as a child, can only imagine it would be worse if I hadn't. Eyestrain can also cause headaches. I'd have to say the headaches have become more frequent as I get older, didn't have them much as a child. >

Guest guest
I just went back and read the posts on headaches. Micah complains of headaches at times (he is 3 yrs old and just had his first surgery 4 months ago). My first thought is that he is having migraines (he wants me to turn the lights off when he has a headache even though he is afraid of the dark and usually wants to sleep with the light on). And just the way he holds his head reminds me of a migraine. I guess I had better get him scheduled with a neurologist. Does anyone know if migraines are related to bleph? Thank you! Guest guest
I have been getting the shots since April 05. The last three weeks I have been getting headaches almost everyday. I hear references about Xolair headaches, is this " normal " ? In reading past post I get the impression that the headaches come and go.
