Finally getting frist xolair shot

Everyone,

Just thought I would let you know that I am finally getting my first

xolair shot tomorrow.

Been waiting since end of August for hospital to work out all the red

tape.

I am currently in the hospital reveiving solumedrol for a flareup.

mold in the Northeast has been horrible. My Doctor decided to give me

the shot while I was here so he could monitor me.

Has anyone had a problem receiving the shot while on solumedrol?

Once my astham breaks, I thin I will wonder whether how much was due

to the solumdral and how much was the xolair. I may never know but

the thought of xolair getting me off prednisone and couple of

hospital stays a year will be worth it!

Will let you know how it goes. By the way, I am my doctors first

patient to receive the drug!
