Doug,

right after I started taking Xolair, I had a bout with acne all over

my body. cleared up shortly thereafter, and haven't had a problem

since.

Regarding the 'wearing off' of Xolair - mine will start wearing off

after about three weeks. since I get shots monthly, the last week

or so can be difficult.

I tried splitting up the shots to every two weeks (since I get two

shots per month), but the single dose was insufficient to give me

relief.

I spoke with a pharmacist about this, and he did tell me that each

month the effects should last a little longer than the prior month.

I've been stretching my doses to 4-1/2 weeks to see if there is any

difference.

The nice thing about giving the shots to myself is that I can be a

guinea pig for all types of self-experimentation. :-)
