Guest guest
All this is really new to me as I became ill all of a sudden at the beginning of August, and just keep getting worse. I have been the round of Doctors and tests and not found anything to help yet. After a month of getting worse, my family Dr sent me to a cardioligist, who sent me to a pulmonary Dr, who sent me to an alleryy Dr. They say I have severe Allergic Asthma. I am on High dose oral prednisone, Advair 500/50, Albuterol by nebulizer every 4 hours, Nasarel Spray for nose which I am told is also a steriod, and Singular. The Allergy Dr thought I may have an infection, so she put me on Ampicillin also 5 days ago. So far none of this seems to be helping, in fact I am getting worse. My pulmonary Dr thinks Xolair may help if I can get the financial assistance approved (I have no insurance). She says my IgE antibodys are way out of control and that I had suddenly developed severe allergies to the environment. Will Xolair help? Are there any other suggestions as to how to allergy proof my house, that are affordable and really work. I need to get my life back, as I can't do anything right now.
