return trip to the ENT -- he is so excited with xolair!

i returned to my ENT. He is convinced that without the xolair, i'd

be looking another sinus surgery for christmas (the last one was 1-

02-03). the dr agreed that xolair is not the cure to my extensive

sinus disease (he called me his most frustrating patient) but its

definately helping. he told me that he has not seen me look so good

since i started with him 2 years ago. (i must have looked awful back

then, b/c friday when i saw him i felt like i was run over by a

truck). he did find another polyp, but its not bothering anyone,

so we'll let it be.

i told him about the offers from people here to write testimonies if

he needs - he said he'll try to figure out what he needs and let me

know when i see him in six weeks (sooner if things get wacky again).

he added astelin nasal spray, in addition to my sinus rinses and

rhinocort AQ. has anyone used astelin? so far, its made my nose run,

and thats about it. he also told me he feels 100% of my puffy eyes

(to the point now that the 2 " corners " of my right eye have split)

is due to my sinuses. he just scratched his head and shrugged his

shoulders when i asked him how to fix it..again, i'm his most

frustrating patient.

anyway, xolair has not only helped my breathing, but saved me from

another round of sinus surgery! YEAH!!!
