Guest guest
Doug & - glad your asthma is doing so much better. , I just finished 7 days of 750mg of Levaquin a day (usually max dose is 500mg a day). It seems to have helped - and quickly. We'll see if it lasts. I also give myself my own shots at home. I will probably be quitting my job and leaving at the end of Feb. I am working in an old building and they've found mold and I am around a lot of germs. I do not think my immune system can take it any more. Even if I have to get off Xolair for a while b/c of insurance, I need to reduce my exposures and get more rest than I do now. Take care all, Addy
Guest guest
Addy, So sorry to hear you are still having problems. Maybe getting away from the mold in the building where you work will really make a difference. Just wanted to let you know that Genentech has a program for people who don't have insurance and need Xolair but can't afford it. The max income limit is quite high, probably because the medicine is so expensive. So alot of people who don't think they could qualify might. It might be something for you to check out. Your Doctor will have to apply for you, as they need to know your IgE and med history. There is some info on this on their website. This program has been a godsend for me, because I don't have insurance and without it I couldn't afford Xoliar. We not only gained more medical expenses when I came down with asthma, but we lost my income too as I cannot work due to the allergies. I'll really be glad when we can get them under control so I can go back to work. Doug, Way to go!!!! Love to hear news like that. - - - In , " pyle456 " <coachmac@w...> wrote: > > > Doug & - glad your asthma is doing so much better. , > I just finished 7 days of 750mg of Levaquin a day (usually max dose > is 500mg a day).
