Theresa,

No, I can't say I have ever heard of it. We usually don't allow posts

about alternate therapies, however you said you have a doctor who is

willing to try this kind of therapy. Therefore, I granted your

post. :)

Hope it works for you. All of us here are serious Asthmatics who have

been helped tremendously by Xolair. Xolair has even taken care of

sinus problems for a lot of us.

Personally, I do not endorse a product or therapy unless an MD is

interested or approves it. The advice I always give this group

is " Trust Your Doctor. "

Theresa,

I would appreciate it if you would post your experience

with the clinic in LaCrosse. I have done a bit of research

on sublingual therapy. Basically, it is the same as allergy

shots only in a bottle that you drop the serum under your

tongue. Some doctors consider it fringy. Also, they tend

to try it on alot of food allergies. I live relatively close

to that clinic and made one appointment then cancelled because

my doctor talked me into trying shots again. Here I am a

year later and had to abandon the shots once again because

I got too sick. I am going to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota

next week and am going to ask them about the sublingual

drops and other things to see if they can help me.

I was on xolair six months, off 3, back on for six months now.

I am giving one straight year because some on this board feel

it has really helped them. So far I have had no effect, good or

bad.

Good luck at LaCrosse. I have met several people that swear by

their sublingual therapy and I would be interested in your

experiences.

Tony
