increased dosing approval????? ?

does anyone know if there is anything in the works to increase the

max dose for xolair?

i'm hoping that xolair eventually extends the approved doses to

include some of us that don't fit neatly into their dosing graph.

technically, even at an IgE of 600 - 700, you have to weigh less

than 130 pounds for the 375mg every 2 weeks.

i'm just wondering. i guess its on my mind since something thursday

and friday made my allergies go nuts, which in turn has set off my

sinuses in a major way. i ended up taking prednisone this morning

(hoping that one dose is enough to help), just trying to keep it

somewhat at bay. with some luck, it doesn't mask the problem enough

that when i go back to the ENT on the 21st, things don't look

perfect.

No, clue, . Doug, can you ask your Xolair nurse if she

knows? My doc has been to Genentech, I see him on Wed and will try

to remember to ask.

FYI I got approved weighing more than 130 and having an IgE score

above 700. Either there are some exceptions or my doc reported one

of those numbers under the actual score.
