My asthma has been getting gradually worse over the past few weeks.

Also, my nebulizer machine was taking sometimes over a full hour to

completly use up my combination mixture of Xopenex, Atrovent and

Pulmicort.

I took the neb machine to our local health equipment store, the

technician looked at it and said it was fine. I bought new filters

and new neb cups. Still no success.

Yesterday when I had my 2 bi weekly Xolair shots, it was also time

for a neb. The doctor hooked me up to the office neb machine. This

time it took only 20 minutes and it opened me right up. Hmmmmmm the

health store did say that they DIDN'T carry that brand of neb

machine. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, something fishy here?

I called the neb machine manufacturer and they told me that it WAS

the machine; to send it back for replacement.

And the whole time I thought I was getting worse! WHEW! While I am

waiting to get my machine back, I am using my portable Omron (see

picture section of the group at left).
