Guest guest
I have 2 kids ............the 17 yo boy lives with me and my dtr is 21 and on her own. My kids both stressed me out horribly when I was first diagnosed .......you learn real fast to prioritize the things that they do that bother you. I used to get upset over some of the dumbest things , now I am just happy they are healthy, drug-free, and have opinions of their own...........amazing how with the second one I find things so much easier .....he can drive me nuts some days .....those are the days when I find a movie matinee somewhere ......or just go walk the mall. I find if I leave and go and just get away ...it helps.................I thank God I only have 2....my mom had 6 of us.......Judy in AZ
Guest guest
, I don't mean to discourage you, but when your kids finally reach adulthood, the worry doesn't stop. They sometimes make very unwise decisions that mess up their lives; they go through such things as divorce; they might drink too much; etc, etc, etc. I don't think the worry ever ends. Guest guest
, Nice thing about teenagers is that they grow up. My one and only is now 25, and she rarely misses a day without telling me how much she appreciates what her dad and I have done for her, and telling us she loves us. I was feeling pretty low recently when I regained some weight, and got this note from my daughter: " Mom, you have always looked great, and I have ALWAYS been proud of you. Your weight may fluctuate, but you stay the same beautiful person I know is my mom. Remember that! " I pull that out whenever I get down on myself. And I also remember she is going to have 4 to raise thru the teen years, and is planning to teach high school as well. Hang in there! Guest guest
Sorry to dump my complaints here... In addition to a pregnant wife and a son with serios poison ivy, I fell on some rocks yesterday while my son and I were hiking and broke my arm. We were down at the bottom of linville gorge and had to hike out and drive myself home. Not my idea of a good time. At least I didn't have to cut my arm off with my pocket knife. ha ha. I guess we have 'bottomed out' and things can only get better from here. I hope... Have a great day. Greg
Guest guest
sounds more like a bad week....looking on the bright side -- next week can only go up. at least its only a broken arm (i realize that a broken arm really stinks) - and thats all you hurt. and as addy says, at least , in the midst of all this, you're breathing is not compromised and your not on oodles and oodles of pred! thats something to celebrate. =o) good luck with the audit. we have the state in auditing the school i just started working in. its no fun. too stressful. good luck happy healing. to you and your son. heather
Guest guest
Sister - thanks for the reminder that our local chapters of American Lung Association are good places to get good info on asthma and for the info on the asthma walk. Our area had its first asthma walk last fall and I hope they do it again! Please let us know how the one in Chicago goes - I hope the weather continues to hold out. Got my Xolair yesterday. I do hope that someday it comes in pre- mixed vials, although I can't complain. Friday and yesterday I felt terrible with allergies and already today that has improved. Greg,I hope you'll have time to post the good news when the baby comes along. Addy
Guest guest
Hi Louis, Try contacting a compounding pharmacy, & asking them if they know docs in your area who buy hCG & T. Some are listed in " Finding a Male Hormone Doctor " , located in the Files section here. I don't know if they know docs near you, maybe you can find a pharmacy closer to you.
