Guest guest
Hi, , I think each person is different you and your doctor are the best ones to tell how much predisone to go down on or to go off of. For me it was when the weather was dry and cool. Also, it depended on what was and or is going on in my life. If I am in a different place or a new place my doctor leaves me on a low does or a trial dose of 10 one day and 5 the next and do that for a week or so until there is a change for the better feeling really good or not feeling right. It is entirely a guessing to see what will work. Well I hope this gives you something to go by. Will check my emails tomorrow. All for tonight. Sr. Volz, C. But on Thursday it was cool and dry and I took only two puffs of atrovent as a prn. I have not done that in 4 years!!!!!!!! A sign of great things to come! (I was sitting outside telling myself " wow I am cured! " ). I am wondering for the ppl who got off pred (e.g. Addy) how slowly you tapered once you got to these doses. My pulmo and I are thinking of hanging out here until mid Sept and the weather becomes cool and dry and then onward and downward! Could you describe your taper schedule? Thanks! __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thank you! We do " play it by ear " and it is just fiddling with doses so I am not too symptomatic as I make the inital decrease. I find I am extremely sensitive to small drops (ie from 15 to 12.5 mg would require at least two days of me stuck at home on the couch until my body got used to 12.5 mg after a couple of days). I am just curious as to how many months it took people (knowing everyone is indeed unique and special!) Have a great day! __________________________________________________________ Find your next car at http://autos..ca
