Guest guest
Hi, and welcome to our little virtual Xolair community! I also suffered from near daily allergic headaches. Terrible headaches, usually 4-5 days a week. Now, I get the same type of headache maybe twice a month, usually as a front comes in bringing rain. I really can't remember the progression of resolution of my symptoms. I remember noticing that the headaches were gone. I absolutely remember the first time I looked in the mirror and the visible sinus inflammation was gone! I hope you find Xolair helpful. Guest guest
Addy, What did you do to help your headaches before the Xolair had its effect? I can identify with the inflammation. Mine are around my eyes. This is my second week. I had some minor improvement on the day of the first injection. But pretty steady after that. Just need to make it to the second injection next month. Could sure use some words of encouragement! Homer > > > > > > Just started Xolair therapy this week and very hopeful that it works > > for me. Guest guest
Homer, I've probably damaged my liver on OTC painkillers. I often alternated hot and cold compresses, trying to get congestion moving, etc. Excedrin Migraine works sometimes. My life is much improved since Xolair has really helped with the headaches. I had a killer one this morning, but like I said, now I have them a few times a month instead of a few days each week! Hang in there...it took me about three months to really see improvement. Did I mention how happy I was when I saw my real face in the mirror for the first time, and not my swollen puffy face?
