After much wrangling with the insurance company (I have Two) I have been

approved for

the shots, 375 mg, every two weeks. My blood tests were over 1,000. My Dr says I

have a

rare form of asthma that you develop if you are over 45 and have had a lung

infection. He

says only 5 % of the asthma population has it. I start my shots tomorrow and am

hopeful

they will work, Predizone is tearing me apart.

I do not know what to expect, I have an emergency call in to my Dr because they

just

called and said they were sending a nurse to my house to teach me how to give

myself the

shots. I do not know if this is acceptable or safe, I'm waiting for a call back.

If the shots do

not work the Dr says he has a form of chemotherapy that works for asthma.

All of my asthma has been within the last two years, it is really bad now.

Heres hoping, just wished I knew what to expect tomorrow.
