Hi all!

I received my second Xolair injections yesterday. One in each arm, a total

of 300 mg which I receive every other week.

Last night, I found myself itching in a couple of odd spots and I didn't

think anything of it. One spot was on my right hand, another was on my left

forearm.

All of a sudden in the last hour, I've begun to itch all over my back, neck,

forearms and chest. (right above my breasts) There are TINY little raised

bumps all over. NOT big blotches like I've had in the past with hives.

Have ANY of you experienced or heard of this type of reaction from Xolair?

Or do you think that it's possible my body has come into contact with

something it doesn't like? I don't know what to do, because this is unlike

any allergic reaction I've had in my life, so I'm not entirely convinced

that it is one. Usually, my ears are the first thing to become itchy and

blotchy followed by my neck and stomach. And I've always had ugly raised

WELTS as opposed to these tiny littel bumps.

Any ideas what this could be? I'm really worried as I can't stop itching.

My BF is out as I type grabbing benadryl... Would you believe I actually ran

out last week and forgot to replace it? My breathing seems fine, my PO2 is

holding strong at 97-98, and my peak flow is great.

Any advice? Should I call the doc? Wait to see what happens with the

benadryl? Go to the ER? I'm at a loss as this is such a STRANGE situation.

One welt and I'd be on my way to the ER, but these tiny dots? I can't

think of anything I've been doing differently. No new foods, soaps, laundry

detergent, perfumes or hair products...

If you think of anything, please help... I'll be here a while!
