Guest guest
Hi everyone! Just wanted to thank you all and let you know that the doc called back right away. He told me to take 2 Benadryl (I already had) and to wait 30 mins. If the rash got worse, he wanted me to head to the ER. He called me back after the 30 mins and I told him that things hadn't gotten worse, and that the itching had calmed some. He told me to put hydrocortisone on the rashy areas, and that has helped a LOT! His advice was... if things get worse at ALL... go to the ER. If I start having any " out of the ordinary " breathing trouble (ie: if I end up in my yellow or red zones) head to the ER. If new patches crop up, go to the ER. He's going to open up the office to see me in the morning so he can get a look at the rash himself, possibly prescribe me some prescription ointment. His first reaction was to have me go to the ER, but he's seen me in hives before and trusted my judegemnt. I told him that if this is an allergic reaction, it's not like any I've had before and certainly unlike the ones that were life threatening. So, I'm feeling a bit better, I have a plan from my asthma/allergy doc and I feel like I can safely head to bed. I have 3 epi-pens in my purse and thanks to my darling BF... a new bottle of Benadryl as well. Thanks SO MUCH to everyone that responded to my panic call, LOL. I really appreciate it. I promise to check in after the doc sees me in the morning! ~ " Trying to forget someone you've loved, is like trying to remember someone you've never met....
