Guest guest
Hi all, I've got a couple of questions for those of you who've been at this longer than I. When I got my 4th Xolair shot Fri, My Doc cut the pred back again. I felt great Sat AM. She had got me down from 60mg to 20 mg with no problems over the last 2 months. This time we went from 20 mg per day to 10 mg the first and second day, 20 mg the third day and I don't know if it's the cut in the pred that's making me so short of air or what. This is the day for the 20mg dose, so maybe I'll get to feeling better later. I really don't seem to be getting a cold or anything. And I really haven't done anything to irritate the asthma. Does cutting down on the pred get worse as you get to the lower doses? 60 mg per day was the only way for me to breathe before the Xolair, I hope I don't have to end up increasing the pred again. I suppose if I'm not better by this afternoon I'll call my Doctor and see what she says. Also sometimes I seem worse after nebbing with Albuterol. This is something new. My chest feels like it really tightens up and I get shorter of air. Has this happened to anyone else? I use the neb every 4 hours. Happy Holidays everyone and stay healthy.
