Guest guest
I received this same message some time ago, and this file is on your computer but it isn't a virus. It ended up being a hoax. So make sure you know what you do before you delete something important. Just a little note to all Heidi Kaufmann wrote on 6/7/2004, 12:02 AM: We received the following message and did have the virus. Chances are we sent you the virus. Guest guest
What is your operating system ? My Son -In -Law is a operation system guy and he's says once you delete the file its pretty much gone (rebooting will make it worse) If you and I have the same system we might be able to send you the file from our pc. It was a security file....now you are vulnerable to hack. CB's Granny

Guest guest
So I am the only idiot that followed those directions! I just cannot believe that I did such a thing, but since it came to the group I trusted it! I have windows 98, use Internet Explorer 6.0, have a Gateway Astro with the modem in it and dial up. Now I better not use my online banking or wonder about paypal and all that. Not what I needed at all. Thanks for any help you can offer. Guest guest
There is a person with the email address of blork@... that tried to send an email to the entire group that contained 3 viruses. My antivirus and firewall software caught it right away. I HIGHLY suggest you put this guy on your email 'BLOCK SENDER " list ASAP! If you use mail, u can find the block sender list by going to " mail options. " Other mail software has ways of blocking unwanted email too. Sometimes, people don't have anything better to do than to try and ruin a good thing that people have. Sad! Trying to protect my group, Doug
