Guest guest
Until you get an answer and treatment I can tall you a bit about how I coped with dome household chores since I couldn't walk or stand more than a few minutes. I went to walmart and bought a cheap folding stool for my kitchen to do things like cut up food and pack the kids lunches. A step stool to put one foot on may take the pressure off while doing dishes. I got a small folding chair from walmart fir my bedroom to sit while I did my hair and makeup. I now use that chair I'm the kitchen if I hVe to reach into the lower cupboards with my grabber to get items. I'm getting really creative doing household stuff post surgery. I've even loaded and unloaded the dishwasher with my grabber it just took a long time. Not muchbelse to do so I may as well feel usefull. It's easier than arguing with the teens to help me. Thanks! So far the x-rays taken 2 weeks ago show degenerative arthritis and symptoms suggest sciatica. Neuro wants an MRI as she highly suspects herniated discs as pain is moving so rapidly. I am not a complainer and can handle a lot of pain. It's simply that this lower back pain is rather uncomfortable, especially when I sit here at my PC I usually have to bend front wards or lean on the arm of the chair to gain a little relief. And when I try and stand over sink doing the dishes - forgetaboutit - lol - as within seconds it really hurts. This is just not like me. Additionally, lately have been feeling a warm sensation radiate from left hip traveling down leg to big toe. Some times can view vein in front of leg between shin and knee kinda bulging out. When I shared this with Neuro she said it could be my diabetic neuropathy. I see my Rheumatologist in an another month as shes been handling my various illnesses including PMR and NP. Should I be seeing an Orthopaedic Physician for these symptoms, even the bulging discs in my neck for whom my Neuro has been handling for a while? Guest guest
The warm feeling in your leg is probably due to nerve impingement at L5/S1, that also causes numbness/tingling in the big toe. I think your bulging vein is not related. You should see whomever is treating you for the cervical spine problem about this. --- --- pat040394 <ltpat228@...> wrote: > I went to my Neuro a few days ago as my lumbar pain > is > getting a lot worse and now traveling across to my > right side. > > So far the x-rays taken 2 weeks ago show > degenerative arthritis and > symptoms suggest sciatica.
