Guest guest
I wobbles my mind. At first, when I even asked about Xolair, I figured the doctor would say no. Well, my blood work qualified, so the RX was sent to the insurance weasels. Nothing ever goes my way. I didn't make a decision about " actually getting the shot " , since surely the insurance would deep six the application. Well...after 3 weeks of waiting, the pharmacy actually sent 3 complete Xolair set ups. The vials, syringes, the whole nine yards. In a nice stryofoam box with frozen solid freezer bricks. I called the allergist, and next week I'll get my first shot. I just have to make sure the stuff is refridgerated. I'm keeping the gel bricks and container incase my fridge dies (my luck). Anyone actually take the shots at home? Curious. I would have gone this week, but the allergist is closed on Friday, car is at the dealers, and my daughter is having an MRI tomorrow. She is 20 months old. Should be fun. blah. Nan-->who is boggled that the pharmacy would actually send ME the stuff. The staff told me they prefer it that way. Had too many offices misplace things. ^v^ Life is too short to be bitter--Jackie Mason ^v^ __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I give myself the shots at home, 3 every two weeks. It is easier then going to the Dr.'s office and waiting. I have been doing it for several months and have experienced not problems. On Dec 7, 2005, at 7:02 PM, Little Brown Bat wrote: > I wobbles my mind.
