Guest guest
Hi Lexie, They have me on Valium for a muscle relaxer, I was on flexural but it made me feel like a Zombie. I have DJD so could you explain what you mean by " your joints fall apart " ? I don't understand and it concerns me that I may not be aware of something! Thanks~~~~Donna In a message dated 12/6/08 6:32:18 PM Eastern Standard Time, lexie@... writes: > I use ativan for muscle spasms. Guest guest
Donna, I have DJD and DDD but it is secondary to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disease. EDS is different for everybody but the hypermobile variant that I have is characterized by loose, floppy joints. Not all joints are affected the same. I have had 10 levels of my spine fused as well as my spine to my head due to instability. Some of my joints are bolted together, some have been fused and some replaced. Muscle relaxers cause my already faulty ligaments and tendons to loosen up more and cause dislocations from rolling over in bed or stepping out of the bath tub or some other normal, everyday thing. It's a pain in the joint! lol. hope this answers your questions, if not, fire away. i am done with cookie making and down for the evening.
