Guest guest
tracy, i'm on Lyrica 300mg a day, diclofenac 50mg a day, Skelaxin 800mg 2 times a day, ativan as needed, fentynal patch 25mcg, dilaudid, percocet, restoril as needed, levathroid. I was kind of thinking maybe the Lyrica? that or maybe I just noticed it at the same time. I'm not out very much when it's dark out. Either that or I need to go to the eye doctor. Would gloucoma do this. Most of my maternal elder relatives seem to get it. But it is quiet colorful and very prominent. Weird huh? Guest guest
No I don't wear contacts. I used to years ago and miss them, but my eyes got to dry to wear them, and then just getting old, and couldn't handle the lenses they give you for bifocal contacts.. Guest guest
Sue, How long have you been on the Skelaxin? I was just wondering because I have tried it a few times, and it just seems to loose it's effectiveness for me. I have to take zanaflex for day, and flexeril at night, and I just hate the side effects. Dilaudid is another that seems to be very weak in my case. I am on the lyrica 450mg a day which really works great, but I just have to watch my salt intake as my feet and legs will swell up, which is what's happening today. I think I had a little too much boiled peanuts the other day. (paying for it today!!) george The dog has seldom been successful in pulling man up to its level of sagacity, but man has frequently dragged the dog down to his. Guest guest
Glaucome is generally seen in the elderly, so I don't think it's that. It may be the combination of so many medications you are on. You are taking many narcotics as well as other potent anti-inflammatories and muscle-relaxant, and gaba-receptor meds. These are all potent meds you are taking and your body may simply be showing signs of overload. have you had your LFT's checked lately? This checks your liver to see how it's functioning, as all these meds have to be filtered through your liver and long term use of potent meds can make your liver work less optimally. This could cause increased levels of the drugs in your bloodstream. Other than that, I have not heard of what you are complaining of, I tend to think it's a generalized symptom of your body potentially being overloaded. Check with your doctor. --- ________________________________ From: Lambert <glambert28@...> spinal problems Sent: Saturday, November 8, 2008 8:29:04 AM Subject: Re: Re: I am seeing bright rainbow halos ..... Guest guest
, I should have my levels checked. I don't think they have been checked in about 8-10 months or so. I didn't think my pain meds were that high. Only because I'm still getting in such a great deal of pain. My dilaudid is 2mg, and the percocet is 10mg, with the 25mcg. patch. I think it is low compared to what I was on before I went in the hospital. I was on 30mg Ms Contin 3x a day with the 50mcg patch, and 30mg instant release morphine 3-4x a day. but I didn't have the other extra meds. I think I like the regimin I'm on now better. But thank you, I will check with him soon. Make another appt just for that. Have a good weekend. Guest guest
I agree with you , I have that same problem when I have taken my full prescribed doses, I get blurred vision, foggy...sometimes I have to blink and try to focus. I've had my eyes checked, and no problem there, so I know it has to do with the meds. george The dog has seldom been successful in pulling man up to its level of sagacity, but man has frequently dragged the dog down to his.
