Guest guest
I finally got to show him exactly where the pain is coming from at the base of my skull. He said that it looks like it is the occiput area, and most likely the muscles that attach to it are acting up, and reminded me that I do have very severe arthritis in that area. So he gave me another big shot of toradol. I was doing so good on reducing my pain meds a lot. And now I am having to use my break- through pain meds. All of this just because I happend to turn my head just a tiny bit.... then bam... I suffer for days. Yesterday when I was in an elevator the pain was unbelievable. When the elevator would stop, my pain was so SHARP, and it made he turn my head to one side, and I almost lost my balance. We had about 3 stops in the elevator, and the pain got worse with each stop. My son was so worried, he had hold of my elbow. (he gets so sad and concerned to see me like that) But when we finally got out of there, walking was so bad because that spot was so sensitive with pain. right now I am still very uncomfortable, and it is still throbbing with pain, and I am so sick of it. And I am afraid of what might come to be.. down the road for me if this deteriorates on me. I guess I shouldn't think that far a head. I'm just having a poor couple of days. Time to climb back under the covers......take more meds.... let them do thier work. hope tomorrow will be better.
