Guest guest
Hey Y'all, I went to the doctor appointment set up for me by Social Security. It was interesting to say the least. The doctor was quite shocked at my condition and so stated which I found incredible and amusing at the same time. I am just not used to doctors admitting what they see! My right hand has 1/4 the strength of my left hand and I'm right handed. My Achilles Tendon is basically dead. The doc pounded and pounded trying to get a reaction out of it to no avail. My right toe got caught on the carpet as he had me walk across the room and flipped my foot over so that the top of my right foot was dragging on the carpet. That kinda freaked him out a little bit! Hee hee hee! That tickled me!!! He had me sit down and then stand up. He had me remove my shoes and then put them back on my feet, all of which produced tears running down my face. He acknowledged my pain with sincerity which I am NOT used to having happen!!! He would NOT write a prescription for pain meds since he will not be a treating physician. I'm OK with that! I did get to hear him record most of the dictation for the report and it was apparent that he has done this a few times, but he did dictate how things were and did not use the phrase, " the patient reports . . . " and that's a good thing. He dictated his findings and that's another really good thing. He did ask me if I was depressed and I told him " no " but that I would be if I got turned down again since I really am unable to work and make money. Now I " sit " and wait! Since I don't do much sitting, I think that I will opt to recline and wait!!! Please keep your fingers crossed that the report is written correctly and that it is received the way it was dictated! If you are the praying kind, I gladly accept prayer as well and have been doing more than my fair share of it since I got the notice that I would be seen! Thanks for reading!
